The vast selection of equestrian goods that are on offer in the shop is amazing thanks to the many generous donations. Many items are of particularly high quality especially many English leather items. I wish someone would invent crossover fastenings on rugs that don’t undo in the field, as this is one of the major causes of rug repairs. I have made a Velcro ‘snug’ but if anyone has any brighter ideas let me know.

Generally our special tack sales on Saturdays have rewarded many that come along with outright bargains. Remember that we have to sell our donated tack quickly to raise funds and we don’t have that much storage space. You’d be surprised at the extensive range of items available but it’s always advisable to ring first, both to ensure we have the item and also to confirm I’m here when you arrive. Some people are disappointed when they turn up either early or late in the day without checking to see if I’ll be here.

Sales of shavings go up and down with the weather however, as sure as the cart follows the horse so winter will follow our mild autumn! Don’t have a shock, buy a rug in time!
